B296 Marvel Gravity Dilution Cream Separator made by Superior Sheet Metal Works Company of Indianapolis, Indiana. This size held 10 gallons and used a combination of gravity and dilution methods to separate the cream from the milk. Glass windows allowed the user to view the separation line, as cream rose to the top and water and skim milk settled at the bottom. A valve was then used to drain the water and skim milk. A wonderful antique display piece for Country Store display, or vintage rustic decor. Or it can be used as an ice bucket, planter or storage. Tin is in solid condition.. Measures approximately 38"1/2 tall x 12" in diameter..
