E524 Rare 18th Century Delaware River Valley ladder back side chair retaining it’s original blue paint.  This chair shows all of the characteristics consistent with the style and period including bulbous turnings on the front stretcher, turned front legs, concave slats,and decorative finials. These chairs were first discovered along the Delaware River in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland measurements 45” tall 18 1/2” wide 15 1/2” deep
from a Maryland collection
