G54 Early 19th century New England Blanket Chest / Seachest in beautiful old blue paint , the case of the chest is dovetailed , with applied molding around the base, the interior is very unusual with four dovetailed drawer , with the original ring pulls, the board in from of the drawers is to lock the drawers in place so they would not come out in rough waters. the interior of the chest is clean, one board construction circa 1800
