The Shield paint is 80% complete but blue paint around the Infantry Horn has mostly worn away with only about 20% remaining. Top of crown bears a 2" diameter, circular metal cockade decorated with a red center and concentric rings of white and dark blue paint that has only light paint loss. Extending from the top front cover of the shako is a much-faded, blue-green with beige colored pom pom. Stitching is tight and complete. Exterior Leather is stiff but complete  The original Black Leather Sweatband is intact, it does show some light wear and flaking,  Still looks great for it's age and will display beautifully!
