Mid 19th century Eastern Shore Maryland pine splay leg Hepplewhite Stand retaining its original teal/blue painted surface. Very unusual form with a deep overhanging one-board top resting on a mortised and pegged splay legged base. Top is secured to the base with wooden pegs. Circa 1820. Measurements: Top is 15 ¼” square x 25 ½” tall
