G43 Late 19th to early 20th century hummingbird diorama. In the background are mountains with a small town. The hummingbird is resting on a branch made of paper with green leaves painted on the glass. Underneath the bird is a small nest with two eggs resting inside. It is in the original frame with the front being decorated by individual reed strips laid at a 45 degree angle. Just a very rare form of workmanship. Measurements are 7 1/8” wide by 9 1/4” tall.
