G527 Exquisite early 19th century Pennsylvania splay leg hepplewhite one drawer stand in original pumpkin paint. One board top features large, original wooden pegs and rests atop a canted base with gracefully tapered legs that are also pegged. The drawer has a molded-lip and is tightly dovetailed. The sides and front of the drawer are also canted to match the base. Nicely champfered drawer bottom. The drawer retains its original escutcheon and it never had a knob - which is why the wear is at the bottom of the drawer - where fingers pulled/pushed it in/out over the years. Fantastic form and workmanship!
