G619 Spectacular 18th century forged Iron rotating apple roaster from Ohio. Circular, freely pivoting ring with eight hand forged hooks rests upon a semi-heart shaped bracket attached to a center post that leads to a 2 1/4" x 3 3/4" wide oval handle for carrying. The rack rests upon on a tripod padded-foot base. Wonderful hammer marks visible throughout. Excellent condition. This versatile piece could also have been used for roasting small birds. Measurements are: 16 1/2" tall x approximately 14 1/2" across (hook point to hook point). The ring is 5/8" wide and heach hook measures 3 - 3 1/2" long.
