G700 19th century trade sign advertising “Confectionery” “Ice Cream and Cigars” Sign is from Deep River, CT - circa 1880. Hand painted colors include various shades of blues, tans, and black on a cream colored background. Artist incorporated several textures throughout the paint, adding to the appeal of this sign.  The flower medallion on the right side is a sand painted texture.
 Measurements: 72 ½” wide x 12 ½” tall x 1 ¼” thick
