G742 Diminutive, identified and dated 19th century Folk Art Pennsylvania Queen Anne Highboy in old red painted surface over the original mustard paint. Dovetailed case with dovetailed drawer stretchers and four dovetailed drawers that are reinforced with tiny square head and tee nails throughout. Handmade raised panel drawer fronts with inlaid diamond shape in the middle of each drawer. Beautiful apron and cut out ends resting on gracefully carved legs. Inscription on bottom of lowest drawer reads “Made by A. Shulze, Myerstown, Lebanon Co., Penna. Anno Dec. 1869”. Measurements: 14 1/4” tall x 8 3/4” wide x 6” deep.
