H171 Early 19th century Virginia two  part Plantation Desk, circa 1830 - 1840 in early yellow paint over the original red. The top section has a single nine window lites, with full mortised and tented joints with the original waive glass. It has a wide simple molding at the top. setting on a base with nice turned legs, with a very unusual lid which drop down and rest on two pull out supports. Measurements are 22 1/2" Deep x 43 1/4" wide x 74" tall
