H313 Fantastic early 19th century Pennsylvania original red painted wall box with decorative lollipop cutout, slightly canted sides and a rounded edge bottom. Hole in center of lollipop for hanging. Great wear to the dry red surface with natural patina interior. Square head nail construction. Nice form and size!
Measurements: 9 1/4" wide x 8 5/8" deep (top opening). 8 1/2" x 7 3/4" deep (bottom of box). The bottom board with rounded edges is 9 1/4" wide x 8 3/4" deep. Sides are 6" tall and it is 11 3/4" tall to top of the 2 3/4" wide lollipop on back.
