H331 Berks County, Pennsylvania slide lid box retaining beautiful original red and black paint decorated surface. Dovetailed case. Lid has three symmetrically carved indentations on one end for fingers to easily open/close the smoothly sliding lid. Clean, natural patina interior. Circa 1790 - 1810. Measurements: 11" long x 7" wide x 6" tall
