H422 Sturdy painted wooden stool with hand painted Folk Art farm scene on the top. Signed and dated in lower left corner: “Betty Fischer ‘87”. Beautiful drop apron sides are mortised into the legs on both sides of the stool. The wonderful scene on top includes a house, barn, fenced pasture, four sheep, a lady feeding chickens, a boy with a dog, and a quilt and laundry on the clothesline. Trees with leaves turning to autumn shades adorn the yard and pasture.
Measurements: 15” wide x 7 ¾” deep x 10” tall. The wood is 7/8” thick
