H472 – Beautiful 19th century rectangular hand-hewn wooden trencher in original dry, yellow painted surface. Visible chop marks throughout the underside with shelf-style handles incorporated into the design. Gently curved and tapered sides with rounded corners add to the visual appeal of this great trencher! A few minor surface cracks can be seen, but only one goes all the way through the wood and remains tight. Interior retains great patina, wear and visible chop marks from age and years of use. Measurements: 21 ½” long x 13 ¼” wide x 4 ¼” deep with the flat resting surface on the bottom measuring 11 ¼” x 7”
