H528 18th century Pennsylvania Blanket Chest retaining beautiful, original dry blue painted surface with original black painted base and white molding around top and base. Dovetailed case with applied bracket base and applied molding around three sides of lid. Original carter-pin hinges. Lidded till inside with a drawer below. Clean, natural patina interior. Pine, six-board construction. Measurements: 49” wide x 18 ½” deep x 20 ½” tall.
