H78 Very rare mid 19th century Virginia folk art painted one drawer southern Hunt Table from Shenandoah County, Virginia. Pencil post legs. The wood is pine and poplar. Table bears its original green painted base color with symmetrical yellow dots covering the edges of the top, and entire base. The drawer front and bands on each leg bear red painted accents along with the yellow dots. Signed on bottom. Very sturdy table.
