H955 Pennsylvania 19th century two piece painted pine Dutch Cupboard retaining its old dry red painted surface. Nice, applied bracket base around the bottom and applied molding around the top feature an early black painted surface. All four paneled doors are fully mortised and pegged. The interior shelves in the upper section have double plate grooves along the back edge of each shelf. The original metal catch behind the upper doors remains intact – and is typical of those found in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area. Natural patina interior.
