L383 Oversized 19th century Pennsylvania slide lid Candle Box with early blue painted surface. Chamfered edges along the top with brass pull in the end of the lid allows easy opening of the smoothly sliding lid. Clean, natural patina interior.
The wood is pine with square head nail construction. Circa 1850s.
Measurements: 24” long x 11 ¼” wide x 9 ½” tall.
