**SOLD** RM1588 Late 18th century Pennsylvania Bible Box with dovetailed case and applied bracket base with decorative cut out feet in original blue and black painted surface. The lid is mortised construction with applied molding to center of top and surrounding the lid. Original hardware. Clean, natural patina interior. The woods are pine and poplar with hand carved dovetails, “T” nails and square head nail construction. Measurements: 18 ½” wide x 10 ¼” deep x 8” tall.
