**SOLD** RM1605 Small 19th century New England firkin bearing original blue painted surface. Thick walled staved and bentwood construction with wire bail swing handle with wooden handle grip. Overlapping finger on all three wooden bands are secured with small copper tacks and a tiny wire staple at the tips. Natural patina interior.
