Z377 18th century   Paradise ,Pennsylvania   ,Chippendale " Dower " Blanket Chest,(circa 1780)  In Excellent Overall Condition. Beautiful original blue painted  Chest  resting on an OG applied feet in the original black paint.. The 3 Drawers have brass Chippendale pulls ,beautiful  hinges with  fishtail end, original crab lock.   All of the Nails are , Roseheads, with wooden pegs . The Drawers and Case are  Dovetailed,  ,  The Woods used are Walnut wood on the Till Lid, Pine Wood for the Chest ,and the Secondary wood is Poplar. It measures 54 1/2" across the front x 24" front to back ,and it is 29" high,
