F322 Late 18th century New England original dry red painted large Beehive wooden bowl . It is out of round, Bold form, with broad inner rim tapering subtly downward,  showing strong evidence of slow lathe turning, and resting on slightly raised foot. Under base shows expected and desired chisel marks where the block was removed after turning. Dry robin red paint is the first coat and the original coat, with diameter 18”  while standing about 61/2” deep rather than the more typical shallower 5 inches. The structural condition of this bowl  is good . The painted surface has typical minor abrasions, from year of use.
