Stunning 18th century Pennsylvania walnut birdcage tilt-top candlestand retaining old blue painted surface, pegged birdcage with original hardware. This wonderful candlestand boasts a carved dish rim encircling the top, nice turnings on the center column and birdcage and tall arched legs. Circa 1760’s-1790s.
Measurements: 21 5/8” diameter x 29 ¼” tall. (41” tall with the top in the stored position).
