CM8 Spectacular tri-color thick glazed redware bowl on footed base featuring brown, blue and green on an ivory-color background. This type of glazing is known as sancai (three color glaze). The redware construction is visible in some areas where the glaze is thinner or where it was never coated. Fine crackling to surface due to age and tiny hairline visible on interior. Absolutely fantastic bowl!
