E402 Early 19th century Shenandoah Valley,Virginia painted twelve tins pie safe, with the original windsor green paint ,  twelve hand punched  geometric tin panels, resting on tall tapered legs, the wood is yellow pine, the doors are all full mortised and pin, the case is also full mortised and pinned. A great example of a Southern  Pie Safe,
Measuirements are  58" h., 37 1/4" w. Provenance: A Maryland collection.
