F122 Colorful hand wrought Sampler with four sets of alphabets in varying stitch styles with very intricate borders and row dividers.  The maker stitched: “Sarah Karpham wrought this December 30 1797 Aged 10 years” among the horizontal rows, along with pictures of various types of birds, flowers, and Crowns in appealing symmetrical locations.  Sampler is encased within a beautiful Birdseye Maple frame with gold gilt molding around opening. Overall Frame size measures: 14 1/4” x 17 7/8” Sampler opening measures: 10 1/4” x 13 7/8”.
