G297 Hand hooked rug depicting two fighting Roosters. Maker created dominant eyes, detailed combs, a few standing/loose feathers and pointed feet on each bird.  The body of each Rooster incorporates several colors, giving the effect of both texture and movement.  A solid black border creates the vision of a 1 1/2” frame around this great piece! Tightly hooked wool on burlap. Circa 1910-1920’s. Professionally cleaned, mounted and ready to hang.7
 Measurements: 22” tall x 37 1/4” wide.
