G353 Exquisite Family sampler wrought by “Charlotte Smith, FEB 1829” This remarkable Sampler features two dates (1828 and 1829), bands with four full sets of repeating Alphabets, a band of numbers 1 - 20, as well as spot motifs that include multiple hearts, flowers, a very detailed cat, bowl of fruit, chickens, peacocks, trees, a crown.... and an astounding 46 sets of initials! Intricately stitched dividing lines separate the bands and a zig-zag border adorns to top and bottom of the work.  Measurements: 17” wide x 24” tall. Wooden frame is 1 1/2” wide.
