G365 Carroll "Wally" Algard (1883-1959), Charlestown, Maryland canvasback from the first quarter of the last century with under-cut bill carving, slight neck shelf, old gunning paint , exaggerated sway back that flows to a sharp chime and a low-slung semi paddle tail, weight and hardware attached. Algard was a railroad track foreman who worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was also a waterfowl hunter who made fine decoys.
