G452 19th century   8" tall stoneware canning jar, from Western PA. It has five cobalt blue stripes that were laid on by a heavy thumb painting .GREAT BLUE COBALT DECORATED STRIPER WAX SEALER STONEWARE CANNING JAR IN GREAT  CONDITION. IT MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 8 INCHES TALL & 5 1/4 INCHES ACROSS BASE. IT HAS 3 FABULOUS BLUE COBALT STRIPES, NICE THICK BOLD RIM & AN INCISED LINE AROUND TOP SHOULDER.  .No cracks and just an outer rim chip, on the bottom, that has been there for a long time
