G453 Late 19th century large Kerosene Bucket in the original bittersweet red paint  with black lettern, It carries two patent dates on the top, the later of which is 1880. The container was made by Impervious Package Company of Keene NH, . There is a screw lid on the top for filling the can and a spigot for dispensing the oil or kerosene. There is another stencil on the side warning that water should not be placed in the container. The container holds five gallons.
 It measures 11 7/8" in diameter at the top, 13 5/8" in diameter at the bottom and 12 7/*" tall.
