**SOLD** G455 Early 19th century Kentucky or Tennessee inlaid cherry Sugar Chest retaining early black painted surface. The hinged rectangular lid lifts to reveal a two section (offset) interior above a single, fully dovetailed drawer. Solid ends raised on turned legs bearing unusual baton like inlaid decoration on front two posts of the case. Poplar secondary wood. Circa 1830. Natural patina interior.   Measurements are 27” high x 36 1/4" wide x 19 1/4" deep
