G525 Unique New England house-shaped nine drawer seed cabinet dated 1884 in original black and gold paint. The date applied to the front is made out of hand carved numbers. This date is also repeated in pencil on the back of the top row, center drawer, where the maker drew a “blueprint” of sorts when creating this project! A lot of details were put into the making of this piece, including lapped board shingles on the roof, double chimneys, nice moldings, original brass knobs and tapered outer corners on the top row’s outside drawers so as not to interfere with the roof line, or functionality of those drawers. It is all square head nail construction. Measurements: 16” wide at roof ends x 18 3/4” tall x 7 1/8” deep
