G677   School of Fish Sculpture carved by George W. Combs (1943-2001) of Trappe, MD - Featuring a school of seven (7) hand carved and painted Fish and a carved Starfish on a piece of driftwood.  The Fish decoys each have tack eyes and distinctly carved mouths.  Inscription on the bottom reads: For "Miss Beverly" and Charlie at their new home. Sept. 2001  George & Maria"  George W. Combs Jr. Trappe, MD"  The Fish each measure between 7 1/2" - 9" long x 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" wide x approx 2" tall. The Starfish measures 5 1/2" tall x 4 3/4" wide. Overall height is 10 1/2” tall and the base is 20" long x 6 1/2" wide. The driftwood measures 16" long x 4 1/4" wide.
