G579 Mid 19th century Shaker original blue painted, lidded wooden sugar bucket featuring iron diamond-shaped bail plates, wire bail with turned wood handle, chamfered bottom and tongue and grooved softwood staved sides secured with three iron bands. Fantastic dark blue paint with great wear and patina on outside and natural patina interior. Measurements: 9 3/4” tall x 9 1/2” diameter top x 11” diameter bottom
