H1060 Early 19th century paint decorated oval shaped personal wooden keg – embellished with incised rings. Original red with blue painted bands and white hand painted decorations, retaining the date “1824” painted in white on one end and initials “HSD” painted on the opposite end.  Retains hole on top where stopper / cork was used to hold liquid contents inside. Hand carved. Fantastic condition – with wear indicative of use. Measurements: 3 3/8” deep x 3 7/8” wide x 3” tall
