H1069 Heart decorated oval Bride’s Box or Tine retaining exquisite blue over the original blue painted surface. Heart is nicely carved into the side. Steamed and bentwood construction with the end posts and overlapping band secured with cane and the bottom being secured with tiny squarehead nails (and a few later tacks). Chamfered edge surrounds lid. Original iron handle/hardware on lid. Natural patina interior. The end posts are gently moved to release the lid.
Measurements: 9 ½” x 5 ¼” oval. 3 ¾” tall (4” tall at end posts)
