**SOLD** H112 Diminutive early 19th century Virginia Hepplewhite stand boasting a deep overhanging scrubbed top with cookie cut corners resting on an apron that is mortised and double wooden pegged into tall, gracefully tapered Hepplewhite legs. The top is secured to the base with large square head nails. There are early wooden battens beneath the top that have kept it from warping/twisting over the years. The wood of the top is cherry, the base is pine. Circa 1800 – 1820s.
Measurements: 20” wide x 19 ½” deep x 29 ¼” tall. The base is 12” wide x 11 ¾” deep, with the overhang of top being 3 5/8” on ends and 4” on sides.
