H116 Monarch Peanut Butter Teenie Weenie Advertising Tin or Pail with lid, 1 pound size, lithograph tin is 3 5/8” tall, 3 1/4” diameter, has original wire bale handle, embossed lid with Monarch Lion registered trademark, directions “To Remove this Cover Turn While You Lift”, Pat. Applied For, Other than wear to the rim excellent gold coloring. Minor wear along the bottom rim, some small spots of paint loss and fine scratches. This is one of the best I have seen in comparison to others out there. Tin pail was made by and marked AC CO 54A (Albert Fischer Company Hamilton, Ohio). Embossed on the underside CANCO LEAKTITE. Peanut Butter was a product of Reid, Murdoch & Co., Chicago, Illinois. Lithograph features Teenie Weenies around the sides and back. Back of the tin is marked R M & Co 1926. A special tin in excellent condition.
