H295 19th century Eastern Shore Maryland Dough Box on legs. The box itself is constructed of five boards secured with dovetails and square nails. Sturdy stretchers on the base are fully mortised. The legs boast lamb's tongue molded ends and are secured with square nails. Later restoration to the lid. Measurements: 47 3/8" wide x 18" deep x 29" tall with lid off. It measures 52" wide x 19 3/4" deep x 29 3/4" tall with lid on.
