H402 Butter Churn Crock with beautiful cobalt clover and leaf decorations attributed to Peter Hermann of Baltimore, Maryland. Tall, cylindrical form with flat bottom, tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles with cobalt accents. Inscribed ‘3’ is visible beside handle, just below the rim, on one side. Crack across bottom. Measurements: 17” tall x 8 ¾” top diameter.
