H419 Exceptional 19th century Rhode Island double sided sign advertising "Centredale Rod & Gun Assn." Untouched dry surface with original black painted letters on a white background with a 2 1/4" wide black painted applied molding encasing the entire sign. Extremely well preserved with very slightly weathered surface and minor crackling to paint. Retains early metal wire hangers, as well as several holes for optional ways of hanging / displaying. "Centredale" (also spelled "Centerdale") is a village within the town of North Providence, Rhode Island. Documentation indicates the Centredale Rod & Gun Assn. was host to many trap shoots in the Summer of 1898 that included famous  shooters of the era from as far away as the state of California. This would be a fantastic addition to any Sportsman's collection! Measurements: 61 1/4" wide x 2 1/4" thick x 16" tall
