H450 Late 18th century New England covered wooden Firkin retaining original dark green paint . Nice dry, original painted surface. Constructed of tongue and groove softwood staved sides with finger lapped wood bands secured with hand made tacks and a rose head nail at the tip of each finger lap. The steamed and bent wood handle is secured with wood peg attachments.  Natural patina interior. Measurements: 11 ¾” tall 12 14/4” diameter (bottom) x 12” diameter (top)
