H477 – Unusual early footed feather basket with lid and tall, sturdy, steamed and bent handle that is woven into the sides. Great natural patina surface. Curved sides resting on single wrapped steamed and bent footed base. The snug fitting lid retains its interior band, double wrapped rim and the top is decorated with a looped handle and two single wrapped rings that match the footed base. Measurements: 10” diameter across top x *” tall sides x 14” tall with handle. The footed base is 7 ¾” diameter.
