H55 NEW ENGLAND WOODEN BUCKETS. American, -19th century. Stave construction with two applied handles. Bentwood bands, original blue paint, two iron bands which are fixed at the top and the bottom of the bucket. Two iron ear handles are affixed to the sides of the bucket for ease of transport. It is sturdy and tight with beautiful blue paint.
