**SOLD** H76 Early 20th century triangular shaped wooden gunning light / lantern with glass front panels. A punched tin can is attached over the top hole to protect the flame from wind / rain. Original wire bale handle with wooden grip remains intact on top for carrying purposes. Old “Ford” wrench attached to screw on top of front to adjust tension securing the glass panels in place. Hinged door on back for access to internal burner and reflector. Retains wonderful natural patina weathered surface. We purchased this amazing lantern from the DuPont Estate – however the stamp on the side of lantern indicates it was originally from the
R.H. Richardson Collection of Cambridge, Maryland.
Measurements: 15 ½” wide x 16” deep x 14” tall.
