H998 Early 18th century Pennsylvania original Wood / Storage Box circa 1780 , in wonderful original gray paint. The Wood Box has a dovetailed case with a half lift lid. and is resting on applied shoe feet. Repainted in '1827' which is painted on the back side. Rosehead nail construction. The wood is pine.
