J134 Late 19th century New England Plate Rack retaining original salmon painted surface. Nice, deep molding applied around top, shaped ends and beaded edges on the front boards are a few of the wonderfully appealing features on this rack. The size, particularly the depth and spacing of the shelves, allows for extreme versatility on displays. Sturdy square head nail construction. Measurements: 43 ½” wide x 7 ½” deep at top molding. Overall height is 46 ¼” tall. Shelves are 5 ¼” deep with the front edges of each shelf being slightly lipped to act as a stop for plates/bowls on display.
