J185 Early 19th century Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Drysink in original yellow painted surface featuring a deep well with tall shaped backsplash, two fully mortised and pegged doors, applied molding around the bottom and rests on applied turned feet bearing their original black painted surface. The bottom board of the drysink is fully dovetailed. This piece bears great wear from years of use. Faint remnants of a later salmon paint are evident in the areas of wear. The doors open to reveal a clean, natural patina interior with shelf for additional storage. Circa 1840’s. Square head nail construction. Measurements: 44” wide x 20 ¾” deep x 36” tall (back) x 32” tall (front)
